Janet Coscarelli (Ouiser)

Janet Coscarelli (Ouiser)

STEEL MAGNOLIAS is a special interest of mine as this heartbreaking story has been a chapter in my life. My youngest sister, Gloria, suffered from diabetes and was on dialysis. She needed a replacement kidney but it never came. She died in March 2000 at age 50. Gloria was an enigma: always out front, never missing a cue and loved by everybody. I dedicate my performance as Ouiser to my baby sister and hope I can be like her: come out on top, never miss a line and loved by the audience.
