Email from Circle's Board of Directors to All Patrons:
Thank you for your patience and support during these unfortunate and unusual times. Circle Players has watched carefully as the COVID-19 quarantine and reopening plans have developed.
As Nashville is only currently in Phase 2 of the plan, we have made the tough decision to postpone A Raisin in the Sun until next season. We did not make this decision lightly, and we considered not only the safety of our audience but also the safety of our volunteer actors and crew.
We are proud of the hard work everyone has put into this production and look forward to being able to share their work at a future date. In the meantime, we will refund all outstanding tickets that have been purchased for this show. Refunds will be credited back to your credit card, if possible, or through a check in the mail within the next two to three weeks.
We graciously thank our patrons who have previously contacted us and donated the value of their tickets back to Circle Players when we initially postponed this show and cancelled Oliver! back in March. Your continued support of Circle Players and the arts in Nashville is greatly appreciated.
We will continue to actively monitor Nashville's reopening plans as we move forward to make the safest and most responsible decisions for all supporters and volunteers involved with Circle Players. As such, we must also wait before making final decisions about the upcoming 71st Season shows and dates, including a new date for A Raisin In The Sun. We will release information as soon as we are able and hope you'll continue to support us in our 71st Season.
The safety of our community is of the utmost importance, far beyond the loss of income our organization is experiencing by cancelling and postponing shows during our 70th Anniversary Season. If you feel moved to do so, we are accepting donations into our special COVID-19 fund to help support future seasons of Circle Players, Nashville's oldest and longest running community theater. Also, stay tuned for information on a new date for our annual fundraiser, Frolic on the Farm.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at info@circleplayers.net.
Wishing you and your family health, safety and happiness,
The Circle Players Board of Directors
