Brian Best (Gomez Addams)

Brian started singing to a crowd at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor when he was two-years-old and hasn’t stopped since. In high school, he toured with Wisconsin’s musical ambassadors, Kids From Wisconsin. A graduate of Belmont University with a degree in Commercial Music, Brian performed at Opryland for two seasons. Brian can be heard or seen on recordings and videos for artists such as Sandi Patty, Carman, Reba McEntire, and The Judds. He is a Dove Award nominee for his children’s musical Promise U! and his national touring children’s ministry, BB Angelo, has ministered to crowds from 50 to 15,000 at events including The Billy Graham Kidz Gig in Nashville (www.bbangelo.com). Brian sings with the 40’s Swing trio, Two Tall Divas and a Tip Top Daddy. Favorite roles include Nicely-Nicely, Curly and, of course, Gomez!

Katherine Morgan (Morticia Addams)

Katherine is delighted to make her debut with Circle Players.  She has just come to the Nashville area from Los Angeles, California, where she voiced national commercial campaigns for companies such as McDonald's, Sprite, Lincoln SUVs, Hewlett-Packard and Nationwide Insurance. She was also cast in independent films such as The Sky is Falling and Slaves of Hollywood. Katherine majored in Musical Theater at Kansas State University and is currently studying with Nashville Acting Studio.  She is a member of SAG/AFTRA.

 

Micah Lynn (Wednesday Addams)

A new comer to the Nashville theatre scene, Micah was last seen as “Marty” in Chaffin’s Barn production of Grease. Some of her favorite theatre credits include "Belle" in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, “Beggar Woman” in Sweeny Todd, and “Ado Annie” in Oklahoma. She would like to thank you, the audience members, for coming out and supporting live theatre, her amazing theatre family back in the Northwest for helping make her into the performer she is today, and her wonderful family for all their love and support, and most of all, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “Without Him I am nothing”. She hopes you all enjoy getting “kooky crazy” with this amazing cast as much as she has!

Gus O'Brien (Pugsley Addams)

Gus is 10 years old and a 5th grader at Isaac Litton. This is his first performance with Circle Players. His professional theater credits include The Narrator in Studio Tenn’s production of Into the Woods and Gavroche in Studio Tenn’s Les Miserables. Gus has also performed extensively with The Theater Bug and will make his debut with the Nashville Opera this fall, playing Romulus Hunt in Carly Simon’s Romulus Hunt. He is honored and “pumped” to be a part of The Addams Family.

 

Andrew Hosale (Uncle Fester)

“It’s great to be working with Circle Players again.” Andrew recently graduated from MTSU with a BA in Theatre Performance. Andrew was last seen in Sweet Charity where he played Daddy Brubeck at the Murfreesboro Little Theatre, and in The Drowsy Chaperone in the role of The Man in Chair at MTSU. Some other roles include: The Showman in Woyzeck, Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, Bagster in The Ripper, and Norman Bulansky in The Boys Next Door. Andrew is honored to share the stage with his fellow cast members, bringing the weird and wacky world of the Addams’ to life. “I would like to thank Mom and Dad for always believing in my crazy obsession with theater; to Nanny, for always being my biggest cheerleader; to Allison for putting up with my drama; and finally to Brett for giving me the opportunity to play this great character. It’s family first and family last…”

LaDarra Jackel (Grandma)

LaDarra is so thankful and excited to be working with Circle Players, and thrilled to be a part of this experience in The Addams Family. She has a BA in Theater and Corporate Communications from Western Kentucky University.  Favorite credits include HAIR (Sheila), The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Betty), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Martin Van Buren) Closer Than Ever (Woman 1), 9 to 5 (Violet), The Spitfire Grill (Hannah), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Milly), and A Grand Night for Singing (Ensemble).  She would like to thank Danny, Daisy, and Titan for always listening when she sings and watching when she dances.  Many thanks to Jeff, Brett, Tosha  and the cast & crew of this fantastic production.

Jon Kopischke (Lurch)

Jon resides in Dickson, TN, and is a District Manager at Aramark Uniform Services. He just celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary with his beautiful bride, Valerie. He has three wonderful and talented children and two of the cutest grandchildren ever. Jon has been involved in more than 30 musicals and plays at the Renaissance Center, where he is  President of The Renaissance Players. Some of his favorite roles were Marcus Lycus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Adam in Children of Eden, The Minstrel in Once Upon a Mattress, and Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird. He is also an apiarist and a Seinfeld aficionado. Love you VJ!

Virginia Richardson (Cousin Itt / Mollyanna)

Virginia is excited to perform in her second Circle Players' show (she appeared in Titanic the Musical in 2012).  She has been performing since age five, when she played Gretl in The Sound of Music at Hume-Fogg High School.  Other credits include Young Violet (Violet, Street Theatre Company), Marta (The Sound of Music, Studio Tenn), Young Cosette (Les Miserables, Lipscomb University), and Baby June (Gypsy, The Keeton Theater). She is actively involved at The Theater Bug in East Nashville.  She thanks Brett and the entire production team and cast for making this such a fun experience!

JT Landry (Thing)

JT is excited to make his Circle Players debut. He was most recently seen as Bob Enright in Pull­Tight Theatre's 9 to 5: The Musical. Past favorite roles include Jeffrey (Godspell),  Bud Frump (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Schroeder (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Hysterium (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum) and Judah (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). He also directed Rodgers & Hammerstein's A Grand Night for Singing at Pull­Tight Theater in 2013, and currently serves as Pull­Tight's Vice-President. Many thanks to Brett for the opportunity to, er, ”lend a hand” and to the cast and crew for being so welcoming. Snap, snap!

Tyler Jeffrey Adams (Lucas)

Tyler is happy to return to Circle Players for some spooky and kooky fun. He just finished a run of Legally Blonde with the Boiler Room Theatre as Warner Huntington III. Favorite credits include Nick in Who’s Afriaid of Virginia Woolf (BRT), Henry in Next to Normal (Circle Players; Circle Award for Best Featured Actor), The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Tom Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, Will Parker in Oklahoma and Milky White in Into the Woods. He graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a double major in Theatre & Film. 2013 Most Promising Actor.  “Once an Addams, always an Adams!” 

Josh Waldrep (Mal)

Joshua  is happy to be back with Circle Players after taking a break from the stage to direct last season's hit Dreamgirls. He's been performing locally for years now and has never felt so at home as when he's with Circle. Josh wishes to send thanks to his friends and family for their unending support of his dream to perform, and the arts in Tennessee! “Congrats to the cast and crew, for you have made this yet another memorable experience.”

 

Sydney Hooper (Alice)

Sydney is thrilled to join Circle Players for the first time. She discovered her love of theatre at a young age and has fed her desire to perform since then. After graduating from a two-year theatre conservatory program, she began her film career and can be seen in such films as the Disney Channel original movie Let It Shine, 42: The Jackie Robinson Story, and Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Some of her favorite performances include the Secret Garden (Martha), Seussical the Musical (Mayzie La Bird), Falsettos (Dr. Charlotte) and RSC Beauty and the Beast (Marie Claire). She would like to thank Circle Players for welcoming her with open arms and pushing her "Toward the Darkness."

Alishia Suitor (Flight Attendant)

Alishia is thrilled to make her Circle Players debut in The Addams Family! She has appeared in productions all over the country including California, New York, New Jersey, Florida and Alaska! Favorite Credits Include: The Wizard of Oz National Tour, Joseph…Technicolor Dreamcoat (OCTC), Mack and Mabel (Broward Stage Door), Book of Love: A Doo Wop Romance (Show Palace), The Days of ’98 Show (Gold Rush Productions), Swing! (OCTC), Guys and Dolls (OCTC), and Young Frankenstein (Musical Theatre West).  Alishia is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. “Huge thank you to everyone at the Circle Players. Much love to Mum, Dad & Bro.”

Charlotte Staggs (Pollyanna)

Charlotte is delighted to make her debut with Circle Players in The Addams Family. Recent area performances include Young Lee in Grey Gardens with Tennessee Rep Aloud; Brigitta in The Sound of Music; Gertrude in Seussical, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie, and Damn Yankees.  Charlotte, a freshman at Harpeth Hall, was recently seen as Sebastian in The Little Mermaid. “Endless gratitude to Brett and Whitney for this incredible opportunity.  Special thanks to my family for their love and support.”

Chris Heinz (Conquistador)

Chris is excited to return to Circle Players’ stage after his behind-the-scenes work as choreographer for bare: A Pop Opera. Favorite past roles include Adam in Children of Eden and Cliff in Cabaret. Chris would like to thank his family and friends for their constant love and support, with a special shout-out to his fiancé, Mitchell. 

Erica Patterson (Egyptian)

Erica is a Communications major with a concentration in Theatre at Tennessee State University. The Addams Family is her fourth show with Circle Players. Other credits include Bare, A Pop Opera (Kyra), Dreamgirls (Charline), The Fantasticks (Lusia), Parade The Musical (Angela).  "I am so excited to be working with Circle Players again. I would like to say thank you to all of those who support me and my dream, you are truly appreciated.”

Hannah Ewing (Flapper)

Hannah is thrilled to be in her first Nashville production with Circle Players! She is currently a sophomore at MTSU pursuing a degree in Theatre.  Her most recent productions are MTSU’s production of Woyzeck (Dr. Assistant) and The Drowsy Chaperone (ASM). She would like to thank the director, Brett Myers, and her family and friends for endless support. “Welcome to the family, and have an abysmal show!”

Leon Blandon (Caveman)

Leon is back for another Circle Player’s production and  excited to show his “creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky” side!  Leon is a familiar face to the local performing arts community. He was most recently featured as an Apostle in Jesus Christ Superstar.  Other recent credits include bare, A Pop Opera,  Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Dreamgirls, One Flew over the Cuckcoo's Nest, Band Geeks,  and The Color Purple.  Leon is a native of Pensacola, FL, where he performed in several productions including The Mouse That Roared, Midsummer’s Night Dream, Prayer Changes Things, and Thank God it’s Sunday. Serving as Props Manager for Circle’s Players’ The Piano Lesson allowed Leon to hone his craft off stage.  “The Addams Family is full of diverse and talented individuals and I’m blessed to share the stage with each of them!”

Leslie Marberry (Pocahontas)

Leslie is a newcomer to Circle Players’ stage; however, this is her second off-stage role as Props Mistress. She recently graduated from Lipscomb University with a Directing Major/Acting and Dance Minor. Her roles include:  Viola in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray, Evelyn Nesbitt in Ragtime the Musical, Anita in West Side Story, Mae in Pajama Game, Luisa" in A Shayna Maidel, and "Annie Oakley in Annie, Get Your Gun. Leslie has directed shows such asThe Boys Next Door, Ragtime the Musical , Big River, The Glass Menagerie, Reasons to be Pretty, The Mercy Seat  and A Shayna Maidel. "It's been great to work with such a kooky cast and crew; I love you all. Enjoy the show!"

Maya Riley (Bomb Girl)

Maya has performed since age 9 with various theatre groups including Circle Players. Favorite roles include Laura in Band Geeks! (Circle Players) and Muzzy Van Hossmere in Thoroughly Modern Millie  (Nashville Children’s Theater). Maya has attended TN Governor’s School for the Arts and was selected a Most Promising Young Artist for the 2013 First Night Honors. Theatre credits include: Dreamgirls, The Color Purple, Hairspray, TITANIC the Musical, and 13 the Musical (Circle Players);  The Gospel at Colonus and Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson (USN Theatre Department). Vocal recording credits include Sarabi for Disney’s The Lion King Junior, and youth background singer for Stevie Wonder’s Ten Billion Hearts. Maya is a senior at University School of Nashville and plans to attend college in musical theatre. She thanks Brett Myers for this opportunity; the creative team and “kooky” cast members of this production; and her Mom, Dad, and brothers for their support of her theatrical dreams!

Nathan Smith (Soldier)

Nathan is thrilled to be back performing in another Circle Players show!  He is a graduate of Belmont University’s Doctoral program in Physical Therapy and is both medically and artistically minded. Nathan works as a physical therapist in Franklin, TN, specializing in pediatrics; but he also enjoys a passion for singing and theatre. His favorite roles include Dwayne in 9 to 5, Mad Hatter in Shrek, the Musical Judah in Joseph and the Amazing Techicolor Dreamcoat, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, and Sam in Crazy for You.  He is grateful for the support of his friends and family and gives thanks to God for strength.   

 

Shane Kopischke (Puritan)

Shane is very excited to do his first show at Circle Players! He is a 16 year-old junior who has been doing theatre for more than 10 years. Previously, he has done shows with the Renaissance Center in Dickson and Act Too Players in Franklin. He was also featured as a Most Promising Actor in the 2013 First Night Honors. Some of his favorite roles have been Mark in RENT (School Edition) and Paul in Company. He wants to thank his family and his girlfriend for supporting him every step of the way! 

Sydni Haynes (Bride)

Sydni is a recent graduate of Lipscomb University. Her credits include Hermia(U/S) in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing with The Nashville Shakespeare Festival; Eponine in Les Miserables, Minty in Pride's Crossing, and Gladys in The Pajama Game with Lipscomb; Geisha in Pacific Overtures with Blackbird Theater, and Ensemble/Assistant Makeup Designer in Shrek the Musical with Circle and Lipscomb. She has had such a great time ghosting with the Addam's ancestors and wishes broken legs to all cast and crew members of this exciting show.
