Melodie Madden Adams (April) - Melodie is excited to be back on stage with Circle Players and part of this amazing cast! She was last seen as Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show and also as Linda Lane in her first ever one- woman show, The Linda Lane Show. Melodie has worked at various theatres in Nashville for more than 10 years. Some of her favorite roles include Lenny in Crimes of the Heart; Jo Beth in Seeing Stars in Dixie; Maria in Sound Of Music; Lady #2 in My Way; Ms. Millennium in Urinetown; Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; Doris in That 60’s Christmas Show; Frenchy in Grease; Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy; and Annie in Chicago. Melodie also performs with the Nashville Opera and was seen in Rigoletto, Faust, Iolanthe, and Aida. Melodie also performs, and is a founding member of MAS Nashville. When not performing, Melodie can be seen selling ice cream out of her vintage camper with her husband Matty! Thanks to Paul Cook and Circle Players for this opportunity, and much love to my smooch!

Mike Baum (Robert) - Mike has loved Company since college and couldn’t be more excited to be appearing on stage with this amazing cast. Mike attended Washington University in St. Louis where he studied Voice and received a degree in Acting. Recent local credits include Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show at Boiler Room Theatre, Rusty Charlie in Guys & Dolls with Studio Tenn as well as Walter de Courcey in the U.S. premiere of Chess in Concert and Corny Collins in Hairspray, both with Street Theatre Company. Other favorite roles include George in Sunday in the Park with George, Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the Man in Marry Me a Little, himself in The Complete History of America (Abridged), John Hinckley in Assassins, Jinx in Forever Plaid, Benny (Benjamin Coffin III) in Rent, and Officer Barrell in Urinetown: The Musical. |

David Bayer (Peter) - David has been performing for more years than he would like to admit, which must come as a shock to anyone who witnessed his outright refusal to be on stage at the tender age of 12. Since then he has danced, fought, acted and sung his way across the country, on stage and in film. His favorite roles include the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Geoffrey in The Lion in Winter, and Bob in Beau Jeste opposite his beautiful wife Lynda. He would like to thank Paul for the opportunity to be a part of such a stellar cast, as well as Lynda and his daughter Bet for making it possible. David generally loathes speaking about himself in the third person. |

Lynda Cameron-Bayer (Susan) - Lynda is ecstatic to be appearing opposite her sweet husband David, again. The two of them have appeared opposite each other in Little Shop of Horror (Audrey & Seymour), Beau Jest (Sarah & Bob), Pirates of Penzance (Isabella & The Sexy Pirate), and Wizard of Oz (Tin Girl & Scarecrow – ok, it’s a stretch), among others. She is also delighted to be sharing the stage with such a wonderful and talented cast. She’d like to thank Paul for his always generous & loving spirit, Wilhelm for his fulcrumocity and Shirley for kicking her hiney. She’d also like to give kudos to an indomitable production team and last, but certainly not least, she’d like to thank her honey for traveling on this great adventure with her and Bet for being the best little girl ever. |
Stephanie Brooks (Tick Tock Dancer ) - This is Stephanie’s third production with Circle Players. She was seen last seen in Keeton Theater’s Chicago as Liz. She just graduated from nursing school at Belmont University and works at St. Thomas Hospital. Performing on stage has been a part of her life since the age of four and she feels so blessed to have the opportunity to do something she loves! It is an honor to perform with such a talented and wonderful cast! Break a leg!

Daron Bruce (Larry) - Daron is thrilled to be back with Circle Players. He was last seen with Circle in the company’s 2002 production of RAGS. He was named First Night's Top Ten of 2010 as best actor in a musical for his performance as Burl Sanders in Smoke On The Mountain Homecoming at Chaffin’s Barn. He also played Burl in Sanders Family Christmas (2009) and in Smoke On The Mountain (2005 and 2007). Some of his other Barn credits include Annie, There Goes The Bride, The Bop She Bops, Johnny Guitar, and Cornelius in Hello Dolly. Daron has also toured with Martina McBride in her Joy Of Christmas stage show. Some of his favorite roles with the Boiler Room Theatre are Cliff in Cabaret, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Herbie in Gypsy and Moonface in Anything Goes. Originally from Illinois, he moved to Nashville as a performer with OPRYLAND USA and is currently the Theatre teacher at Hume-Fogg Academic High School. Megan Murphy Chambers (Amy) - Megan is delighted to make her Circle Players debut amongst this amazingly talented group. Though new to the Circle scene, she is a regular in the Nashville theatre community; most recently she appeared in Street Theatre’s remounting of Macabaret and in the Nashville premiere of It’s Only Life. Offstage, she directed the Boiler Room’s Rocky Horror Show last fall. Some of her favorite roles on local stages include How to Succeed in Business… (Rosemary), Urinetown (Soupy Sue), I Love You, You’re Perfect… (Woman 2), Nunsense (Sister Amnesia), Blackbird (Froggy), Marry Me a Little (Woman), Epic Proportions (Louise) and FIVE (herself in a series of black dresses and a sombrero). She writes, directs and performs with MAS Nashville, and can occasionally be found in the sound booth providing the voices for the VeggieTales’ Madame Blueberry and Libby Asparagus. Megan would like to thank Paul Cook for dropping by while she was gardening, and the whole cast and crew for being wonderful onstage and off. Geoff Davin (David) - Geoff most recently made his Nashville area theatrical debut as Frank-N-Furter in The Boiler Room Theatre’s production of The Rocky Horror Show. He is originally from Boston where he made his professional acting debut in Fiddler on the Roof at the age of 14 and has been hooked ever since. He attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts C.A.P. 21 Studio where he majored in Musical Theatre. He then went on to perform both regionally and on National Tours around the country as well as Off-Broadway in NY. Some of Geoff's favorite roles include Rutledge in 1776, Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Ariel in Return to the Forbidden Planet, both Roger and Kenickie in Grease, El Gallo in The Fantasticks and King Arthur in Camelot. Geoff also spent two years extensively touring the Northeast with his NYC based Alt-Country band Coppersonic. He now resides in Nashville and just released his second solo album entitled Breakline for which he wrote all of the songs (except for one). Rebekah Durham (Sarah) - Most recently you’ve seen Rebekah perform locally in 3psProductions' staging of Nate Eppler’s Long Way Down. Nashvillians will also recognize her from her work with Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre in such productions as A Bad Year For Tomatoes, Cabaret, Nunsense and all three productions of Glad Tidings. You may have also seen her with the Actors Bridge ensemble in favorites including How I Learned To Drive, Warrior, Metamorphoses, Wonder of the World and Kimberly Akimbo. Having performed on regional stages across the country, she made her Off Off Broadway debut last summer in Margaret Hoffman’s The Sun Turns Black. She appeared in commercials for the Nashville Predators and Nanny 911. She is so thankful to have the opportunity to make her Circle Players debut with this group of amazing talents.

Erica Lee Haines (Marta) - Erica is a native of Nashville having performed at Opryland as a kid. After graduating from Belmont University, she performed with the Broadway tour of “Ring of Fire” and with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Recently, she finished a USO tour through Europe and the Middle East after having performed lead roles in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,Almost Heaven, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Lindsay Terrizz Hess (Jenny) - Lindsay is thrilled to be making her Circle Players debut in such good Company. She was most recently seen in the Act 1 production of Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog as Penny and at the Boiler Room Theatre as Logainne in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Lindsay's other great passion aside from the performing arts is animals. When not rehearsing or doing a show she is kept busy with her petsitting/dog walking business Prince and the Paw-Purr Petsitting or her rescue effort Paw-Purr Pooch Rescue. Thanks to husband Frank and three fur babies (Barnum, Bailey and Chloe) for keeping me sane. |
Debbie Kraski (Joanne) - Debbie has been involved in multiple Circle productions since appearing in Hello Dolly! in 1995. A few on stage credits include the role of Mrs. Johnstone in Blood Brothers, The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, Domina in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Martha in A Piece of My Heart, Eleanor in The Haunting of Hill House, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Death in On Borrowed Time, and the Stepmother in Into The Woods. She has also worked as a designer for sets, t-shirts and programs, as an award winning props mistress, and a producer for the company. Debbie has most recently been seen around town at Chaffin’s Barn as Ozella Meeks in Osborne and Eppler’s Southern Fried Funeral. She is absolutely thrilled to be part of such a talented cast and extends a heartfelt thank you to Paul Cook, Wilhelm Peters, Katie Veglio and the rest of the dedicated crew of Company for making the experience a memorable one.

Russell Qualls (David) - Russell is a recent graduate of Austin Peay State University where he got his real start in theatre. He is thrilled to be appearing in his first show with Circle Players, and is especially honored to be working with such a talented and welcoming cast and crew on one of his favorite shows. Some of his favorite past roles include Elyot in Private Lives, The Sergeant of Police in The Pirates of Penzance, and Benjamin Franklin in the world premiere of the opera Ben and the Virtues, as well as recently appearing in the ensemble of Ragtime. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support, since he could not do this alone.

Scott Rice (Paul) - Recent credits include Macabaret and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Barfee) at Street Theatre Company, Arcadia at Blackbird Theatre, Jesus Christ Superstar (Herod), Damn Yankees, Assassins (Zangara), Urinetown, Lucky Stiff, Cabaret, Disney’s Beauty and the Bast, The Secret Garden, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Epic Proportions, Godspell, Sweeney Todd (Beadle), Guys And Dolls (Nicely-Nicely), Little Shop of Horrors and the title role in McBeth! The Musical Comedy!, all at the Boiler Room Theatre, as well as several chorus roles with the Nashville Opera, including the role of Ruder in their production of The Student Prince. Scott has also been cast in Blackbird Theatre’s upcoming production of Pacific Overtures. He holds a degree in Musical Theatre from Northern Kentucky University, and is originally from Murray, Kentucky. |
Stacie Riggs (Kathy) - Stacie is thrilled to be back for the second time with Circle Players after previously being seen in The Wedding Singer (Linda). You may have most recently seen her on stage in the Keeton Theater’s production of Chicago (Velma). She has also performed with the Gaslight Dinner Theater in Dickson in shows such as Cats (Rumpleteazer), A Chorus Line (Kristine), and Smokey Joe’s Café (Delee) to name a few, and with the Mind Enriching Children Theater’s productions of Seuessical, School House Rock and High School Musical. Stacie also works with BnDAmato Productions performing in industrial shows around town and has performed in Hershey, Pa. with Matt Davenport Productions. When not doing what she loves on stage, Stacie works as a wedding planner in the Nashville area and is also currently planning her own wedding for this coming September. She would like to thank Paul, Wilhelm, Shirley and the rest of the amazing cast and crew for the chance to share this show with them.
