Ok, here I am, Kathryn Leigh Clubb (Martha), with my weekly blog that will (hopefully) fill you in on all that has been happening with the show, High School Musical.

Well, (as is expected) we have been learning more new songs or different parts of the same songs. One thing I hadn't realized is how much I missed tight harmony, seeing as how I haven't been in a big choral group in a while. It's beautiful! I just hope all that doesn't go away when we add in our amazing dances...

Speaking of amazing dances... Tonight at rehearsal, we did ALL the dances Jose has choreographed so far, and the entire cast saw (for the first time) the thespians’ audition dance for the musical in “High School Musical.” OH MY GOSH!!!!! The dancers in that scene probably couldn't hear the music because we were laughing so hard! It's hilarious!

I think we've pretty much at least started the choreography for all of the dance numbers... I think. Oh, “Get'cha Head In The Game” is really cool too. We also started the choreography for the “High School Musical Mega Mix” (which is every song in the musical smushed together in like five minutes). Oh, boy! The dancing is great but Mr. Thom said that the “Mega Mix” is actually musically different than the original songs... so that should be interesting...

Well, that's all for now! (SIDE NOTE: Bob (Troy) has started the phrase, “What Would Disney Do?” in response to what Mr. Thom and Mrs. Sara have been saying about not wanting to be Disney... just thought that might make you laugh as much as it makes us laugh :END SIDE NOTE)
